Kyrie Irving may not have a contract with Nike after next season, but the Swoosh is staying committed to Irving’s connection with the company’s annual N7 endeavors.

The N7 initiative is something that is important to Kyrie, as his late mother Elizabeth was a descendent of the Standing Rock Sioux. Nike’s focus is on getting youth in Native American and Indigenous communities in North America more active, so they can lead healthier, happier, and more successful lives. Since its creation in 2009, the Nike N7 Fund has awarded more than $8 million in grants administered by the Charities Aid Foundation of America to more than 270 communities and organizations. And whilst we normally see Nike’s N7 releases touch down in Native American Heritage Month (November) this past year has certainly presented logistical challenges. Nonetheless, the pairs are on the way, and Kyrie Irving’s offering will once again headline it — this being the second sneaker from the Brooklyn Point Guard to surface.

Like the collection’s Kyrie 8, this Nike Kyrie 5 Low “N7” brings in a beautiful all-tan upper, and again honors his own Standing Rock Sioux tribe and calls out the hoopster’s Lakota name of Hela. The signature Nike N7 logo appears on both the insoles in muted green, with Swooshes on the profile to match, The pair is then fitted with lemon laces and forefoot Swooshes, mauve-marbled midsoles, and light tan outsoles underfoot.

A release date for the Nike Kyrie 5 Low “N7” has not yet been set, but with official imagery for the pair available now, you should expect to see a release in the near future. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
