The LeBron 21 "Prime 93" Releases in May 2025

Nike icons unite as LeBron James' Nike LeBron 21 will be taking inspiration from the golden era of Swoosh signatures, with a colorway nodding to the Nike Air Diamond Turf.

This particular iteration of LeBron’s latest sneaker pays homage to the "Prime 93 Fire Red," an original Diamond Turf color scheme that hit shelves back in 1993 and is set to return in 2025.

The Nike Air Diamond Turf holds a revered spot in sneaker history. Originally crafted for the dual-sport phenom Deion Sanders, it is known for its versatility. The design catered to Sanders' dynamic capabilities in football and baseball with features like a mid-cut silhouette for added support and a distinctive midfoot strap. Its robust design and vibrant colorways not only served athletic purposes but also resonated deeply with sneaker enthusiasts, embodying the flair and charisma of Sanders himself.

Of course, this isn't the first time LeBron James has honored Coach Prime. In 2018, the LeBron 15 "DT" formed part of the "LeBronWatch" series of retro-inspired sneakers.
