Available Now // Air Max 97-Inspired Nike MX-720-818 “Silver Bullet”
OG Post 12.19.19 // The OG Air Max 1 is not the only reimagined Air Max in the news today, with Christian Tresser’s iconic “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97 being repurposed for Nike all-new MX-720-818.
Although this futuristic sneaker holds heavy influence from the Air Max 98, the OG 97 colorway looks right at home on the space-aged sneaker. It arrives with all the same cues: metallic silver uppers, fully-translucent Air units, red Swoosh branding and black hits across the rubber outsoles and liners — it even brings in vintage Air Max branding hits from the period on the pulls. Of course, its wavy overlays are absent, but the makeup is unmistakable.
Tale a peep at the official images set for the Nike MX-720-818 “Silver Bullet” below, and while a release date for the pair is yet to be announced by the Swoosh, you can expect pairs to arrive on Nike.comfairly soon.
