Nike Dropped Knicks-Friendly Air Force 1s in NYC After 76ers Sweep
It's official: the New York Knicks are going to the 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Mike Brown's squad swept the Philadelphia 76ers in the Conference Semi-Finals to secure its consecutive ECF spot. To celebrate the occasion, Nike launched an orange-and-blue Air Force 1 at its SoHo store (611 Broadway).
The Premium AF-1 features Nike NYC branding and a two-tone color scheme that will be right at home in any Knicks, Mets, Islanders fan's sneaker rotation.
This isn't the first time the Swoosh celebrates New York City or its basketball heritage. The aforementioned NYC logo was originally developed to capture this rich connection, especially within the context of street ball. In fact, the white-and-orange Air Force 1 Mid worn by Kobe Bryant in 2002 during a visit to Harlem's Rucker Park features this same branding (the pair is set to return as a "Lord of the Rings" Air Force 1 Protro).
Head over to Nike SoHo at 611 Broadway to secure your Knicks-friendly Air Force 1 Low.
