“Midnight Navy” is Next Up for the Nike Pegasus Wave

Nike continues to honor its heritage while pushing design boundaries with the Nike Air Pegasus Wave—a modernized take on the classic Pegasus silhouette. Balancing retro inspiration with contemporary performance features, the Pegasus Wave elevates the beloved model with durability-focused enhancements.

Differentiating itself from the breathable mesh of the Pegasus 2K5, the Wave opts for a more robust build with increased padding, better foot protection, and a TPU cage for added support. While it stays true to the original silhouette’s design language, these updates ensure a secure fit and long-lasting comfort.

After a series of vibrant colorways, the Pegasus Wave returns with a striking "Midnight Navy" iteration. Drenched almost entirely in dark blue, the design leans into a moody aesthetic, accented only by black details on the midsole, cage trim, and a subtle Mini Swoosh at the midfoot.

The Nike Pegasus Wave “Midnight Navy” is expected to launch in Spring 2025.
