Nike Running Revisits "Volt" Finishes for Ekiden 2026 Collection

Nike Running is set to release its annual Ekiden Collection by the end of 2025. The latest lineup includes the AlphaFly 3, VaporFly 4, Vomero Plus, and Rival Fly 4 in "Volt" color schemes.

Previously seen on the original AlphaFly NEXT% from 2020, the neon green color scheme animates four of the Swoosh's current marquee franchises. "Black" and "White" contrast joins the mix, but each pair's most defining details are "Volt" flair and gradient prints across the upper. The quartet is sure to demand attention whether running throughout Japan or training for your local park run.

For the uninformed, Ekiden ((駅伝) refers to a long-distance relay race between schools or universities in Japan. Six-person teams compete to make it to the finish line first, attracting hundreds of spectators all throughout the Asian country. Previous Ekiden lineups by the Swoosh have taken on mismatched color schemes and flame graphics harkening back to the brand's long-standing relationship with Japan's running community.

Firm Nike.com release details of the collection have yet to be disclosed by the brand, but pairs are expected to launch stateside in January 2026. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of three of the four pairs ahead (the AlphaFly 3 is on the way).
