When the ACG Air Mowabb first arrived in 1991, it created a lane of its own as a silhouette built for a wide range of outdoor activities. Tinker Hatfield, who sought to bring cross-training to the outdoors, designed the ACG icon using a Native American moccasin as inspiration. Though the Rattan colorway is the most revered of the OGs, it’s lesser-known original “Trail End Brown” (pictured below) is starting to pick up some steam — in fact, we did an Air Jordan 1 Concept colorway based on the sneaker just a few weeks back. Now it looks like Nike SB pro skater Grant Taylor is on the same wavelength, dropping a Nike SB Blazer Hit GT PRO “Trail End Brown” release of his own.

Nike Air Mowabb “Trail End Brown”
It’s expected to arrive like this sample pair shared by @nikeSBfeatures in which GT has replicated the purple neoprene at the tongue and heel panel and has capped each with striking orange and golden-yellow accents. Though its nubuck upper has been replaced by ballistic mesh and tumbled leathers, they do both arrive in tonal shades of brown. Upper eyelets are popped in purple to tribute the OG, whilst outdoor-inspired rope laces further the outdoor aesthetic. Completing the design is a matte black plastic Swoosh set that channels the Mowabb’s rear heel clip, and a white-flecked black rubber sole unit.
Grab a first look at the ACG-inspired pair here below, and look for these to roll out at select skate shops and *hopefully* Nike.com this October. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor further updates.
