Since 2009, Nike has been honoring their pledge to the youth of Native American and Indigenous communities in North America through their collective N7 series. Typically the series aligns with Native American Heritage Month in November, recent years have seen pairs dispersed evenly across the year, somewhat diluting the impact of the collection. For 2023, it’s expected that releases will resume their November schedule, inclusive of this new Nike SB Dunk Low Decon “N7”
For this special-edition deconstructed release, the Swoosh serves up a natural undyed canvas upper and tongue, with textured white leather toe caps, and quarter, eyestay and toe boxes of jet black textile. Those, along with the Swoose overlays, are tacked on with traditional-style needlework, while the black panels boast a beautifully embroidered design featuring both flora and fauna. The pair is then completed by a simple white EVA midsole, translucent rubber outsole, graphic insoles, and N7 branding in the back.
This pair is one half of an impending SB pack for the occasion.
