Tinker Hatfield is known for a lot of wonderful contributions to the sneaker world; the Air Max 1, the Air Jordan 11 and the self-lacing HyperAdapt are those that top the list of the designer’s notable achievements. Often overshadowed by it’s class of ’87 alumni, the Air Max 1, the Nike Air Safari has seemingly become more famous from its adaptations on other sneakers. 2003’s atmos x Air Max 1 and LeBron’s 16 Low are the two most notable, but now another will be joining the clan; this Nike SB Dunk Low, which is set to arrive at retailers soon.
Mimicking materials true to the famed atmos pairing, including canvas toe boxes, alternate-colored Swooshes, suede side panels, and safari-print overlays. It comes complete with a like sole unit, forefoot mini Swoosh, black tongues, and brown suede heel overlays.
