Nike SB is set to ignite the excitement for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games with a special release that pays homage to the event.
Following skateboarding's successful debut in Tokyo and its approval by the International Olympic Committee in 2016, the sport has quickly risen to prominence in the global competitive arena. To celebrate this momentum, Nike SB is rumored to be collaborating with the Olympic Committee to present a unique series of footwear and apparel, inclusive of the just-revealed Nike SB Blazer Mid "Safari."
But that's not all; A matching Nike SB Dunk Low is on the way.
A first look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Safari" has been unveiled by XCSNKR showing the design that closely mirrors the Blazer's aesthetic, with the safari print playing a more prominent role.
Here, a neutral suede upper hosts quarter and toe overlays of the print, leaving black mesh collars and tongues, russet-orange colored liners, and vibrant blue swooshes. A sail-tinted, contrast-stitched midsole sits below, with bold blacks painting the Swoosh and rubber outsole to round out the design.
Pairs of the Nike SB Dunk Low "Paris Olympics" were first expected to be released in full-family sizing on Nike SNKRS on July 24th, 2024. However, it looks like the release may be delayed till August 9th. Make sure to keep your eyes on our official twitter for further updates.
