The Nike Shox R4 Dons a Daring “Dutch Orange”

Although it boasts one of the Swoosh’s most audacious cushioning systems ever made, the design and color blocking of the Nike Shox R4 have historically been toned down. From matte silvers to blacks, bold colors are used sparingly on the in-your-face silhouette. And while this next offering uses only a handful of Orange hits, it’s a bonafide head-turner.

Any time black and white is used in such stark contrast, you’re guaranteed some attention, but this R4 adds Dutch Orange into the mix, one of the most vibrant orange shades in the Nike catalog. The heavy hue arrives on the liner and tongue, Swooshes and Shox units, creating some serious pop. Grey embroidery plays a minor role to complete the design, arriving on the toe caps and heel detailing.
