Nike Sportswear continues to reimagine the Shox franchise for the modern era. Although the column-shaped technology is no longer the brand's marquee cushioning solution, it's found a home amongst savvy fashion enthusiasts looking for a nostalgic aesthetic.
The original Shox R4 leads all retro efforts, but the Shox TL (an abbreviation for "Total") follows close behind. The silhouette's latest ensemble sees "Black/University Gold" share the spotlight. The former tone takes over the bulk of the sneaker, isolating the rich yellowish hue to the profile overlays, sidewall swooshes, accents on the tongue, and contrast lining on the spine. Previous offerings from the Swoosh's Sportswear division have indulged in similar presentations, but the two-tone makeover's appearance on the Nike Shox TL complements several Total 90 items ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Additionally the black-and-gold style would fit right in with any Pittsburgh Steelers fan's collection, if the upcoming NFL x Crocs Classic Clog collaboration isn't to their liking.
Enjoy official photos of the latest Shox TL ahead. Pairs should release via Nike.com by October for $170.
