Slowly building momentum after some time away from the spotlight is the Nike Shox TL with an increasing number of releases seeing the light of day, including the OG “Hyper Blue” announced here recently. Though the next to be unveiled is all-new, it may look a little familiar, with this pair reminiscent of the High School of the late Kobe Bryant, The Lower Merion Aces.
Often borrowing the color gradient effect from the Air Max Plus, this release opts for a more simplistic color palette. The combative mesh upper is dressed in soft grey hues while overhead white cage overlays hold the build together and offer foot-hugging comfort, at the pairs foundation sits the unique Shox sole unit that are both adorned in white. Completing the look and offering color to this monochromatic canvas is the splash of “Aces” maroon that graces the swoosh, lace stays and trimmings, heel, and the medial panel that continues to the underbelly of the upper.
