For Nike’s sustainable Space Hippie linage, one would expect that there may often be delays due to the supply of suitable recycled materials. Since the introduction of the line, we’ve seen sporadic drops of the first four models, but the 01 has by far been the most consistent. It seemed that there was nothing slowing down for the Nike Space Hippie 01 in 2020 — until it halted in August of that year. It finally reappeared mid-way through 2021 and has since stepped up its schedule. Now you can tack on a new colorway for 2022, with this awesome navy and orange arrangement set to hit shelves in the new year.
Here, the upper’s weave omits the signature fleck, opting for one in tonal navy hues. It’s contrasted by bold orange Swoosh stitching, red vamp threat, and maroon pull branding. All of this rests atop a white-based Crater Foam sole unit, with the pair then completed by the line’s signature recycled fibre insoles.
A release date for these beauties has not yet been set, but with official images landing here today, you can expect to see these hit Nike.com in the very near future. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
