Nike Trainer SC High “Raiders” Arrives September 11

Though he’s known for many things, Bo Jackson is most famous in our space for his cross-athletic Nike Air Trainer SC, famously designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. When it touched down in 1990, the silhouette — like the athlete — was one of the most popular models of the era. Though most of that focus was thrust upon his “Auburn”-inspired colorway, the later tributes to his then Kansas City Royals and Los Angeles Raiders became equally loved. In 2022, we’ve already seen a handful of Royals-flavored pairs, but only now have we sighted the year’s first tribute to his football prowess, with first and official looks at the Nike Air Trainer SC High “Raiders” coming to light.

Like many Raiders releases before it, Bo’s Trainer SC High arrives in a completely monochrome makeup, with black leather and unbuckle the key ingredients. From there, a handful of mid-grey overlays arrive at the mid-foot and forefoot, with laces and outsoles joining in hue. Bright whites round out the design at the laces and midsoles, as well as hitting the heel and interior tongue branding.
