Nike’s newest addition to the VaporMax lineage is by far their most sustainable effort yet — in fact when you look at the brand’s overall offerings, it fares pretty highly on the list of Earth-friendly footwear to date. And whilst recycled scraps and waste make up various and integral components to the sneaker, in no way does it compromise the pair’s construction or performance. Moreso, it’s a giant step above what’s been on offer in previous VaporMax years, and with each new colorway, more and more people are beginning to recognize it. Next up for the silhouette is something a little more understated than the debut drops, with this “Summit White” VaporMax 2020 opting for a clean grey-white weave paired with clean whites and a back-to-basics finish on it’s translucent Air unit, though it does still call upon color bombs for character. Marbleized heel clips and toes feature blues and purples, whilst traction pads underfoot cool thing down with blues and greys. Tongues, by far the most vibrant aspect of the release, pop out from beneath the central tightening system with a confetti-like mix of reds, yellows, greens and more. Completing the design is a pure white midfoot Swoosh, white tongue and heel pulls, and insoles that mimic the signature “Grind Rubber” fleck.
