Nike is introducing the Vegam Run, its first running shoe created specifically for India, with the new model set to launch on November 1, 2026.
Developed with input from runners across India, the Vegam Run is designed for both daily miles and everyday wear. Athlete feedback helped shape a shoe focused on cushioning, breathability and durability while remaining versatile enough for life outside of running.
The build starts with a lightweight engineered mesh upper paired with full-length foam underfoot. A stacked, textured rubber outsole adds durability, while additional rubber around the perimeter is designed to handle frequent wear. Pull tabs at the heel also make the shoe easier to slip on and off.
Nike says the project moved especially quickly, going from its initial design brief to a confirmed product in just 55 days, with roughly five months separating the original concept from launch.
Several bold colorways will be available, including an After Dark Tour version tied to Nike’s Mumbai stop in December.
The Nike Vegam Run releases November 1 through Flipkart and select retailers in India. Wider distribution across Nike partners in India is planned for Spring 2027, followed by additional markets around the world later in 2027.
