Grab a detailed look at the Debut Black and White Nike Zoom Freak 1 below, ahead of its release at select Swoosh stockists like Finish Line, Champs, and Eastbay, as well as Nike.com on July 10th for $120.OG Post // Following teasers, leaks and rumored release dates, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Freak 1, will finally make its highly anticipated debut next month — but it won’t be in the first-to-surface Kaleidoscope colorway, with the Swoosh settling for a market-friendly black and white debut option.
The Greek Freak’s debut shoe will arrive with an all-black one-piece mesh upper, matched with an accentuated Swoosh-shaped white midsole, which rides all the way up to the ankle on the lateral side. Also mimicking the Swoosh shape are the dual translucent outsoles on the lateral forefoot and medial ankle, both of which wrap the upper and midsole before cementing itself underfoot. 34 branding on the heels and GA tongue and underfoot motifs arrive in white and Lucid Green — the only flash of color on the sneaker — while special shout outs to his family arrive throughout the entire midsole, including his parents “Charles + Veronica” featured on the medial midsole, his four brothers Francis, Kostas, Thanasis, and Alex carved in the heel, and “I am my father’s Legacy” etched centrally on the outsole’s midfoot.
