Nike is set to launch a new colorway of Giannis Antetokounmpo's signature shoe, the Zoom Freak 5, that tells an intimate story of the two-time MVP's love for a classic snack - Oreos.

Giannis developed a fondness for the popular cookie when he entered the League. Growing up in Greece, where Oreos were an unaffordable luxury for his family, he discovered the sheer delight of dunking the black-and-white cookies in milk just before Thanksgiving 2021. Ever since, Oreos have become his favorite nightly treat.

The upcoming Nike Zoom Freak 5 "Oreo" cleverly mirrors this snack-time ritual. The textured knit upper, midsole, and heel tab all adopt the creamy white shade characteristic of Oreo's smooth center, while the jet-black leather overlays and tongue structure emulate the cookie's dark exterior. A marbled design graces the tread underfoot, reflecting the speckled aesthetic of dunked cookies. The bottom half of the Swoosh flaunts speckled detailing, nicely complementing its upper silver metallic finish.
