Unveiled back in March, Nike Basketball’s Greater Than Series had something for everyone, with each offering designed around the specific motions and playing styles of the modern era. Amongst those were The GT Run, powered by React Foam, and forefoot-focused Zoom, for the Russell Westbook type athlete who moves from baseline to baseline with explosiveness. The all-rounder Nike Zoom GT Cut utilizes full-length Zoom and React, with tailored support for multi-directional cuts. Then, there’s the big man’s shoe, the Zoom GT Jump made for high-flyers and post players.
Given its cushioning systems, the Zoom GT Jump is aptly titled; featuring a full-length Zoom Strobel, and additional Zoom units at the forefoot, the pair is designed to give more pop off the hardwood. The upper frame introduces a new JumpWire and a Pebax Jump Frame that provides extra spring above the cushioning, giving Zoom-loaded performance footwear a never-before felt bounce.
When it was revealed, Nike suggested that pairs will begin to roll out in late 2021, and with official images of pairs like this “White Multi-Color” and the just-revealed “Grey/Sail” selection, one would suggest that pairs will be released soon. Until more news arrives, you can grab an official look at the Nike Air Zoom GT Jump “White Multi-Color” here below, and stay tuned into the official HOUSE OF HEAT Twitter account for further updates.
