It’s been a minute since we saw the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 in action, with 2018’s *A-COLD-WALL collaboration kicking of an 18-month run of in-line releases. Since then, though, all has been quiet for the retrospective runner, but come Fall 2022, all that will change, as the Swoosh will reintroduce the shoe as part of an impending “Bowerman Series” of releases.

Though specifics of the collection remain shrouded in mystery, this pair may give hints at the overarching theme of the series. Hermit’s clad in creamy Oatmeal, Ivory, and Chocolate hues that — along with sail-washed midsoles — announce themselves as a heritage look. Contrasting that, a quick flash of light blue at the outsole’s forefoot and tongue ribbon livens up the release for what would otherwise be a completely tonal takeover. A peep inside will reveal the Bowerman Series motif; so expect to see a handful of other Nike Running options appear in similar duds, soon.
