Nike’s Zoom Vomero 5 has been making waves in the sneaker world since its re-entry into the brand’s lineup of products at the end of 2022. The new wave of releases has been known for its experimentation with color palettes, and their the latest release is no different, as it deploys a mix of Olive Flak, Volt, Moss, and Light Lemon Twist giving the shoe a military-inspired aesthetic.
The upper of the shoe features a variety of materials that take on a muted, drab, brownish shade, further adding to the military-inspired design. However, reflective panels interrupt the muted scheme throughout the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel. Additionally, “Volt”-colored branding, laces, and collars add bold contrast to the mix. The components just above the Cushlon midsole boast a forest green-reminiscent hue, while the proprietary Nike foam has a clean off-white finish. The Zoom Vomero 5 features an all-black outsole that complements the upper’s design well.
