Nike Serve Up Two Hot Takes of the Zoom X Vista Grind This Week!

The sneaker giants seem to have locked horns in a battle to see who can bring out the most futuristic-forward thinking designs to market. In one corner we have adidas with the YEEZY 380, the Futurecraft series and Pharell’s upcoming BYW collaboration. In the other corner, we have Nike, with the likes of the Air Max 2090 and the new Nike Zoom X Vista Grind — with the latter appearing again with two new arrangements.

Firstly, the pair dubbed “Platinum Violet” features a translucent upper that hovers above paint-blotted pastels and is encapsulated by a black heel overlay, toe box, lace eyelets, and swoosh branding. Underfoot is a heavyset tan midsole that includes segmented windows to reveal its purple foundation and an ice outer sole to finish the look. Alternatively “Lime Blast” features the same construction as its sibling but with underlying heat map-like blots to suit its respective scheme, with lime green serving as an alternative to black in its trimmings. A “Sky Grey” chunky midsoles, ice-cold outsole and black Swoosh finish the look for the second pair.
