OG Post 08.13.20 // Virgil Abloh will once again reunite with Nike in 2021, making it the fourth year running for the powerhouse duo. Virgil and his OFF-WHITE label took the sneaker world by storm back in 2017, with a ten-piece footwear collaboration centered around some of Nike’s most heralded silhouettes. The Air Jordan 1 and the Presto are arguably the best pairs of the pack, but Abloh’s effort on the Blazer — a silhouette he pursued further with multiple future drops — was also top-tier. Now, for Summer 2021, Virgil returns to the silhouette, though this time it will be a Low.

The news joins the unveiling of sacai’s two Blazer Low efforts for Spring 2021, indicating that Nike will likely have big plans for the low-top heritage hoop shoe next summer. As for Virgil and co, you can expect to see a black-based option, complete with his signature dual lacing and sectioned circular cut-outs throughout. Sneaker-leaker @PY_Rates has taken to Instagram to share the report alongside a visual representation of what to expect come Summer/Fall next year.

A second colorway of the OFF-WHITE x Nike Blazer Low for 2021 has been revealed in White/University Red. It too is expected to release next Summer.

A first look a the Black/Green OFF-WHITE x Nike Blazer Low for 2021 has landed courtesy of @wavegod_thelegend. Though it’s fairly close to the original Photoshop renders, there are a few tweaks, namely the retooled heel piece that features protruding foam at the rear, plastic inserts, and colored fleck.
