The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" Releases On September 13th

Nike and Patta are teaming up once again to celebrate two significant milestones with the re-release of the iconic Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll." Launching on September 13, 2024, this exclusive drop commemorates Patta's 20th anniversary and 15 years of collaboration with Nike. Originally debuting in 2009, the Chlorophyll edition has become a highly sought-after gem among sneaker aficionados.

The new release maintains the classic Chlorophyll green and Matte Silver colorway while incorporating modern touches. It features the same fabric from the 2009 release, a new €20 bill design on the sock liner, and a special box celebrating Patta’s legacy. The custom Patta tongue label pays homage to the brand's impact on sneaker culture.

Patta cofounder Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt reflects on the significance, stating, “The original Chlorophyll project was like a first album — full of energy and organic creativity. This release stays true to that essence, making it an exciting moment for the sneaker community.”

The Air Max 1 "Chlorophyll" will be available exclusively on pattaxnike.com and at Patta chapter stores. Early access will be offered on September 12 at the Patta chapter store in Lagos, Nigeria. This drop not only marks a key anniversary but also underscores the ongoing influence of the Patta x Nike partnership in sneaker culture.
