Detailed Looks at the Piet Parra x Nike SB Blazer Low

Not to be outshone by the marquee pair of the pack, Netherlands born artist Piet Parra’s other sneaker from next weekend’s two-piece collaborative pack is this Nike SB Blazer Low.

Known for his colorfully whimsical graphic motifs, the Dutch designer has made a name for himself in the sneaker world through efforts on the Air Max 1, and is now aiming to replicate his magic on a lesser-loved Nike icon, and he does so with true Parra persuasion. Sharing much of the same aesthetics as his SB Dunk Low, the base of smooth white leather and matching sole unit provides Parra with a perfect blank canvas to flex his creativity. Bold geometric prints on the insoles and liners in pink, red and blue are mimicked on the four-layers of embroidered Swoosh on the profile, the top sporting a chenille finish. The pair is finished off with two sets of laces, each tip arriving branded, and Parra cursive replacing the traditional SB tongue labels to complete the design.
