Public School New York’s return to the runway earlier this year wasn’t just about clothes. Hidden amongst the layered tailoring, oversized outerwear, and militaristic styling at the brand’s February runway show was the debut of a rugged new footwear collaboration: the PSNY x Nike Air Max Goadome.

Now confirmed for a Holiday 2026 release, the boot arrives as one of the more unexpected Nike collaborations on the calendar — and perhaps one of the most fitting for the current moment. Public School has always excelled at taking utilitarian staples and reshaping them through a sharper, fashion-forward lens, and that approach is fully visible here. The classic Nike Goadome is transformed with elevated leather construction, oversized hardware, and double monk-strap detailing that shifts the boot away from pure outdoor function into something far more tailored and deliberate.

The result feels equally suited for a downtown runway or someone clocking into a late-night shift — hence the tongue-in-cheek notion that the PSNY x Nike Air Max Goadome is perfect for those working “In-Security.” Not security.
