NikeSKIMS Champions Red for The Varsity Collection; Releases Oct. 22

The NikeSKIMS partnership between the Swoosh and Kim Kardashian is dropping another expansive collection of products on Thursday, Oct. 22. Dubbed The Varsity Collection, the range introduces outerwear for the first time, includes more Nike Rift styles, and champions the "University Red" color across key pieces.

Performance-driven elements are incorporated into elevated silhouettes to provide women more ways to layer during the year's cooler months. Outerwear offerings feature sherpa and Nike Therma-FIT technology tuned specifically to keep the body warm. Crunchy Nylon styles use water-repellent fabric to help battle the elements during the upcoming season.

NikeSKIMS outerwear extends the imprint's system of dress, which already includes tops, bottoms, sculptwear, footwear, and accessories made to move.

"With NikeSKIMS, we want women to feel confident and put together, and this collection takes that even further," said Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, SKIMS, in an official press release for The Varsity Collection. "I’m especially excited about the ["University Red"] colorway. It’s bold, effortless and brings so much energy to the collection."

Fans of the NikeSKIMS partnership will be happy to know that the latest seasonal drop includes returning franchises like Weightless Layers, Performance Cotton Blend, and Airy.

The Varsity Collection has been brought to lifethrough a campaign that features cheer team from the University of Alabama, a three-decade, all-sport Nike partner and reigning UCA Division 1A cheerleading champion.

The new NikeSKIMS fall styles will be available globally through Nike.com and SKIMS.com/NikeSKIMS. Select Nike, SKIMS, and partner retailers will follow.
