Since debuting earlier this year, the Nike LeBron 18 Low has seen significantly more action on the collaborative front than its mid-cut counterpart. While the latter has focused more on repurposing retro colorways, the Low has seen link-ups from long-time Nike collaborators in atmos, as well as a debut drop from Mimi Plange. For the King’s feature film Space Jam: A New Legacy, the Swoosh will be serving up several new propositions of the silhouette, including this Nike LeBron 18 Low “Sylvester vs Tweety”
Though the other pairs from the collection opt for split blocking or mismatched feet, this character-themed creation comes with perfect symmetry. Given Sylvester and Tweetys’ juxtaposed statures, it makes sense that the former takes over the majority of the sneaker. The frustrated feline’s black and white fur is mimicked across the two-tone upper, with Swooshes of bright red nod the cat’s shiny nose, while his ‘Sufferin’ Succotash’ slogan site on the left lateral Air unit. Tweety plays only a minor role, hitting the pair’s eyestay underlays in vibrant canary yellow, resting his oversized orange feet at the outsole, and countering at opposing Air Unit with his famous “I tawt I taw a puddy tat” catchphrase on the right sneaker. The pair is completed by Tune Squad tag at the tongue, and graphic insoles featuring the two titular characters.
