Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 Lows Retail for $450
After a brief stint with the Three Stripes, Austrian jewelry auteurs Swarovskireturns to the Swoosh for avant-garde editions of the Air Force 1.
With their name not sighted on the release — nor are their signature diamantes — and given the extreme nature of the design, one would question whether these are actually in partnership with the Austrian jewelers. But the image source, US_11, assures us that they are. Perhaps the famous swan motif is swimming somewhere beneath the sea of (possibly 3D-printed) studded, muddled overlays that are bolted on with removable screws. Said overlays arrive in select panels, so you’ll be able to mix and match your placements — I’d probably only keep the Swoosh on. Underneath, you’ll find a premium leather construction, ballistic mesh tongues, and what appears to be a significantly softer textile liner than usual.
Options of black and white are expected to arrive soon, though a confirmed release date did not accompany the official images below. While we await further details, grab a quick look at the pairs further on, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
