Official Images // Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Porpoise"
Nearly twenty years after Nike crafted bespoke Terror Squad-branded Air Force 1s exclusively for rapper Fat Joe and his inner circle, the masses will finally taste the collaboration. In a nostalgic nod to the early 2000s, when rapper-sneaker tie-ups were few and far between, the Swoosh and Terror Squad are set to unveil not one but two retail-ready renditions of the iconic sneaker.
In a chat with Complex, Fat Joe confirmed the release of these coveted pairs and hinted at an uber-exclusive friends & family edition. He fondly recalled how the late Virgil Abloh had approached him with the idea of merging Off-White with Terror Squad for an Air Force 1 design. This vision laid the groundwork for the upcoming commercial releases.
After teasing sneakerheads with the "White/Black" colorway, official images of the follow-up — the "White/Porpoise" — have emerged. This iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low TS is dressed in a pristine white base, offset by Porpoise (a soft shade of light blue) accents gracing the heels, Swoosh logos, and tongue labels embellished with the timeless "Nike Air" imprint. An unmistakable touch is the renowned “TS” logo embroidered on the shoe's lateral heel, paired with the “JC” initials — an homage to Joey Crack — positioned on the heel tabs. Final touches include a clean white AF1 midsole and a frosty translucent outsole. And for those looking to add a personal twist, each pair comes with additional laces.
Though Nike remains secretive about specific launch details, with the heat of summer approaching and official images now in circulation, a drop on August 19 seems imminent.
