Since its debut in 1991, the nNike Air Huarache has come a long, long way. Not only have Nike found countless ways to reinvent Tinker’s classic design, but it’s gone on spark ideas like the Air Jordan 7 and practically gave birth the nike’s ACG range.

So, here we are in 2018, and we’ve got yet another rendition of the classic, known as the Nike Air Huarache Gripp. It debuts in two iconic Nike colorways, the first in Sail, Team Orange, White and Wolf Grey — which pulls in Nike’s notorious Orange Box cues. The other has vibes of the aforementioned ACG range, decked out in Black, Olive Canvas and Indigo Burst.

The shoe comes built with a high-top sock ankle collar, an oversized removable lace shroud with retro Huarache branding, Swoosh branding on the forefoot and “GRIPP” replacing the the traditional “AIR” on the heel cage.

Both pairs of the Nike Air Huarache Gripp colorways release today, October 12th, at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com for $150 a pop.
