Oregon Ducks Football is known for its progressive football and its ever-changing uniform combinations and as one of the most cutting edge programs in college football today, they’re dropping an NFT with the help of fellow Oregon Duck alumni, Tinker Hatfield.

This isn’t Tinker’s first foray into NFTs, as the renowned sneaker designer drew an NFT for Ducks superstar and potential #1 pick Kayvon Thibodeaux for his NFT drop last summer.

Flying Formations is a series of 120 unique NFTs that comes with a physical pair of Oregon Ducks edition Nike Air Max 1s which are personally signed by the man who designed the iconic sneaker. The sale of the NFTs benefits the athletes on the Ducks football team, with 2/3 of all revenue will be shared equally amongst the team.

The Air Max 1 features a bright green upper in mesh and suede with a forest green used on the mudguard and liner. The Swoosh is seen with multicolor bars, similarly seen on TV test patterns. The same pattern is seen on the Duck featured on the tongue as well as the insole with the Oregon O and a bright green midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel and forest green outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The Flying Formations NFT is set to open its auction on February 20th, using a Dutch Auction format, with the price starting at 12.5 ETH and will decrease in price until it hits a reserve of 1 ETH. More information can be found on the Flying Formations website
