UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk Low “Canteen” Arrives June 18th

Coming hot off their Mamba Week “What If” pack, long-time Nike collaborators UNDEFEATED return to headlines with news of an upcoming Nike Dunk Low for the Summer of 2021.

Sneaker-leaker PY_Leaks has just dropped information on the release, which is expected to arrive in a combo of Canteen and Lemon Frost. Based on its color blocking, the release appears to pay homage to 2006’s Air Force 1 InsideOut collaboration, in which the LA-based retailer explored the use of knits, suede, and texture leathers. The eye-popping yellow leather Swoosh and “On Your Feet Kid” lettering arrives at the pair’s midfoot, with a clear brown and chocolate rubber outsole completing the design.

Although its inspiration is not yet confirmed, it will be the 15th anniversary of the collaboration and a fitting tribute to the duo’s storied heritage. A first look at the UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk Low “Canteen” has arrived, and as first speculated, it does arrive on-theme with the 2006 Air Force 1 Low of the same name. Aside from the model swap, there does appear to be some slight changes, most notably the use of smooth leather at the heel and not nubuck, white branding in the back and the inclusion of the UNDEFEATED logo on the lateral heel. There is also no sign of the “ONYOURFEETKID” midsole insignia.

The pair is said to form part of a special “AF1 vs Dunk” pack that reimagines a handful of the retailer’s classic designed reversed on opposing models.

UNDEFEATED has announced that their UNDEFEATED x Nike Dunk Low “Canteen” will releases exclusively at all global Undefeated Chapter Stores and undefeated.com on June 18th. A wider SNKRS release is yet to be identified. Pairs will release alongside the pack’s “Bring Back 2003” Air Force 1 Low.
