Punk’s not dead.
UNDERCOVER‘s latest collection, “The New Warriors,” draws inspiration from the timeless Walter Hill film from 1979. The result? An array of punk-inspired designs. Takahashi has gone to inflict the same design ethos into his latest collaboration, including this duo of Converse Chuck 70s, which are scheduled to fall on March 14th.
The shoe itself is still iconic in the punk scene, which is why it arrives mostly in its original state. The oversized emblem on the lateral ankle connects it to UNDERCOVER’s SS19’s graphics of choice. The giant midfoot zipper and added pull rings on the heel and forefoot further connect the pair to the punk rock scene so prevalent in the late 70s.
Official campaign images have now surfaced ahead of their March 16th release. Pairs will be available from the select retailers below for $120 a pop.
