Heart on Lock: Nike’s Air Force 1 Low Gets a Valentine Refresh
Following December's early Valentine’s Day Air Force 1, Nike is expanding its romantic lineup with a softer, more playful follow-up for 2026. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Valentine’s Day” in “Pink Foam” continues Bruce Kilgore’s 1983 classic tradition as a seasonal canvas, this time leaning fully into pastel tones and heart-forward detailing.
The pair is dressed almost entirely in Pink Foam, with a tonal jacquard-style upper featuring a repeating heart motif across the toe, quarters, and heel. The pattern adds texture without overpowering the silhouette, keeping the design clean and wearable beyond the holiday itself. Matching pink leather Swooshes, laces, and midsole reinforce the monochromatic finish.
Nike adds a few playful Valentine’s touches throughout. A removable metallic heart-shaped lock hangtag attaches at the laces, stamped with Nike branding and a keyhole cutout. Inside, the tongues feature “Love Is In The Air” messaging, further tying the release to the February holiday. Nike Air branding at the heel and tongue stays tonal, maintaining the understated approach.
Compared to the bolder red version previewed earlier, the Pink Foam edition feels more refined and versatile, offering a lighter alternative that still carries the same romantic theme. The result is a Valentine’s Day Air Force 1 that leans less toward novelty and more toward lifestyle.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Valentine’s Day” (2026) in “Pink Foam” is set to release on January 15th at retailers including JD Sports. The pair will retail for $125.
