Nike’s are keeping it simple (for once) on this Chinese New Year themed Vapormax. Typically, Chinese New TYear offerings are OTT, but this is a little more subdued.
There are no special logos or any references to the CNY theme – but it can be construed that the Black uppre represents the night sky, with the lower Red weave to represent the celebratory fireworks. It also comes with a few 3M hits, with reflective detailing coming on the midfoot Swoosh as well as its heel branding. And just to add a little more intrigue, each insole comes in a different color.
This “CNY” Vapormax can be picked up from Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com from January 18th for $190 USD.
