Fall 2026 is inching closer and the Nike Sportswear team is preparing for the occasion. In addition to readying rugged boots built to perform across inclement weather, the Swoosh has also reimagined comfortable, lighter styles like the Vomero 5 in colorways fit for autumn.
Fresh off of appearing as part of a Women's-exclusive green-and-pink pack, the retro running shoe from the 2010s has popped up in a Timberland® boot-like "Wheat Gold" makeover. The newest Nike Vomero 5's official color description also includes "Gold Suede," "Light Orewood Brown," and "Light Olive" tones, firmly cementing the offering as part of the brand's seasonal calendar.
Over the last decade-and-change, the Nike Sportswear team has brought "Wheat" and "Flax" suede and nubuck finishes to popular footwear styles, offering alternatives to the 6-inch boots by Timberland® that are synonymous with fall and winter in places like New York City. The "Wheat Gold" look isn't the Vomero 5's first time joining the trend, but it might be one of the better-received updates given the model's all-day comfort.
Enjoy detailed shots of the seasonal Vomeros ahead. Pairs are already available via DICK'S Sporting Goods for $180; a global Nike.com launch should take place by the end of September.
