Originally previewed as part of the annual Air Max Day celebrations — then put on the back burner as Nike decided to forego the event to focus on “giving “Air” to support local organizations and champion the power of community.”Whether you believe that, or if you believe that the Air Max Day “On Air” collection had a massive delivery delay, one thing we can all agree on is that the collaborative efforts on the Air Max series this year have been on another level. One of those is this upcoming Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air VaporMax 2019, which bolsters the technical Vapormax 2019 with eccentric exterior embellishments on the Swoosh (PVC piping), and heel (Smiley Faces), as well as oversized “JUST DO IT” finished with a rubberized paint effect on the lateral left and medial right, and vintage Nike tongue tags.
