Where to Buy the OG Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball”

The only time I’ve ever been excited to see a medicine ball.

Originally released in 1988, the Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” took the sneakerworld by storm. If you cant think back 30 years, the colorway was recently seen on the Air Jordan Legacy 312 in August, and this past week’s release of the LeBron 16 Low.

But now, Nike will officially be bringing back the original retro trainer, 31 years after it’s inception.

It arrives in all of it’s OG glory: White, Midnight Navy, Ginger, and Light Bone makes up the industry-changing cross-trainer. It’s white leather upper paired with Ginger and Navy Blue overlays is instantly recognizable, while its “Light Bone” TPU lacing system is done in Light Bone really challenged the industry’s perceptions about what materials they could use on a trainer — and then there’s that visible Air unit. but we all know about that.

Originally leaking late last year with no release date, the Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” is now confirmed for an April 25th release. Stay tuned for more updates to our Buyers Guide below, but until then, enjoy an official look at the retrospective pair.
