A Duo of Vapormax Flyknit 2.0s Celebrate the Year of The Pig

His and Hers.

This year’s Chinese New Year collection from Nike is growing by the day, and it’s looking to be the biggest in their history. The Swoosh, in their 12th year of CNY releases, is paying homage to the “Year of The Pig” It also marks the completion of the Chinese Zodiac rotation, which features 12 animals that play heavy roles in Chinese culture.

Adding to the collection are two editions of the VaporMax 2.0, arriving in his and hers editions. For the fellas we see a predominately black pair, paired with monarchal Chinese colors of red on the Flywire, tongue branding and VaporMax sole unit, and gold, hitting the lateral and medial Swooshes and heel detailing. The ladies rock a lighter pair, one that’s predominately gold and white woven Flyknit, paired with a matching textured heel detail. The women get to enjoy a crystal-clear sole unit, with hits of red throughout the entire sneaker. Staying in theme with the entire collection, both sneakers boast a Bai Jia Yi patchwork detail on the insoles.
