The Huarache EDGE Arrive in “Triple Black” Leather

Edgy.

The Nike Huarache is a bonafide Nike icon.

Tinker Hatfield, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Mark Parker’s creation — which inspired too many spin-off sneakers to count — is as relevant today as it was when it was unveiled in 1991. The runner has made it’s way into the gym, the track, the basketball court and the streets, with the newest member of the family, the EDGE, best suited to the latter.

Next up for the new EDGE is a classic “Triple Black” colorway, but it arrives with a twist. Swapping out its usual mesh construction for a new leather outfit, one can’t help but associate it to a gimp suit — but perhaps that’s just my twisted mind.
