Nike ISPA Unveil a Water-Resistant React Sneaker

Water sucks.

Nike’s new ISPA initiative, short for “Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt,” is designed to meet the needs of a modern-day commuter who’s navigating the urban jungle, utilizing elements of footwear design for the great outdoors.

After the successful debut of the mid-cut ISPA React Runner and the sophomore ISPA Air Max 270 SP SOE comes their third new silhouette, the Nike React WR ISPA — their first low-cut offering. Similar in shape to the React Element 87 and 55, the WR ISPA keeps the recognizable plugged midsole untweaked but incorporates a slew of updates on the upper, including opaque, water-resistant material uppers and extended laces covering the throat down to the midfoot.

Just like ISPA’s debut duo, the next ISPA installment will arrive in three colorways; Black/Metallic Silver, Summit White/Royal Blue, and Velvet Brown/Terra Orange, all arriving at select stores like Noir France on February 23rd.
