Bruce Kilgore's Nike Air Force 1 Low design from 1983 continues to be a versatile canvas for the brand.
Over the last handful of decades, the "presidential" silhouette has taken on a plethora of ensembles, introducing new manufacturing processes, commemorating specific occasions, and paving the way for sports-informed footwear to become fashion staples. Most recently, the Air Force 1 has appeared in a number of different makeovers inspired by Valentine's Day. A newly-surfaced pair sees a "Pearl Pink" color scheme and thematically-shaped charms.
The Women's-exclusive AF-1 sees a matte finish across its upper, differing from the glossy presentations found on other holiday-specific proposals. Outsoles and the bulk of the top-half favors a soft pink tone, while profile swooshes, Achilles' heel tabs, and branding on the tongue label deviate in a bold shade. Ribbon laces join the mix for a feminine touch. The sneaker's most eye-catching detail, however, is the set of fruit and heart-shaped charms that bring a playful touch to Kilgore's design.
Enjoy detailed photos of the festive Air Force 1 ahead. Pairs are expected to launch via Nike.com by early February 2026, but inventory is already available through Foot Locker and Champs Sports.
