Air Huarache “Rattan” Continues Nike’s Sustainability Series

Tinker Hatfield’s 30th-anniversary trainer is getting in on the Swoosh’s sustainability program, with the surfacing of this all-new ladies exclusive Nike Air Huarache “Rattan” appearing with a bevy of recycled toolings.

While Neoprene booties and midsoles of sail remain unchanged, other elements including the toe box, overlays, laces, caging, and outsoles all appear to sport an upcycled element. Toe boxes, also in sail, surface in recycled fibers, whilst a familiar gritty cinder finish is applied to the tongue badging, rear caging, and outsoles. Overlays of white are riddled with leaf-like graphics which hints at an environmentally-friendly material, as too does the “Pink Glaze” fiber laces and cork-lined insoles.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see this ladies-exclusive Nike Air Huarache “Rattan” hit select retailers soon.
