The Nike Air Max Scorpion Joins the "Just Do It" Series
Though it's no longer the newest marquee Air Max model — that title belongs to the recently-released Air Max Pulse – the Nike Air Max Scorpion is not going away quietly. In fact, there's nothing quiet about the silhouette, with it's oversized, engorged Air units a statement in itself. More recently, the silhouette has been surfacing in equally-audacious colorways, including a special-edition release for Air Max Day. Now it has emerged in a colorful ensemble as part of the seasonal denim-clad “Just Do It” collection.
The Flyknit uppers feature a crisp white finish, while branding and accompanying accents introduce splashes of pink and blue. Denim Swooshes on the lateral sidewall and laces echo a previously-seen Air Force 1 Low from the collection. Pink "Just Do It" text adorns the lateral forefoot, matching the message on the tongue label. The layered midsole offers semi-translucent, off-white shades, while the traction completes the eye-catching Air Max sneaker with a pink, green, and blue camouflage-like pattern.
Take a look at the official photos of the pair below, and stay tuned for more information on the release in the coming weeks.
