Original Post Heralded as Japan’s best export in the skateboarding scene, Yuto Horigome showed exactly why as he claimed gold in the men’s street skateboarding event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics — the first time skateboarding was included as an Olympic sport. The hometown hero also happens to be in partnership with Nike SB, and with that global success, his global cachet has grown exponentially. To capitalize, the two have united on this upcoming Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low for August 2023.

Though the pair’s official story is yet to be revealed, it’s clear that Horigome has honed in on the pair’s quality and craft, with supple white leathers, soft mid-grey suedes, and pops of chocolate and pastel pinks ringing up the rear and rubber outsole. A cross-feather embroidered mark lands on the lateral ankle, while the team roder’s name appears below the Nike SB motif on at the tongue; The pair is then completed by special sky lantern-like insole graphics to complete the design.
