Kith Debuts On Cloudzone Collab and K-Tech Performance Line on Feb. 21
Ronnie Fieg might be the busiest man in the fashion-sneaker space. Having kicked off the year by unveiling an expansive collection of footwear and apparel via Kith Records' latest music video, the New York City-native has recently unveiled the latest collaboration between Kith and On.
The link-up, previewed by both Fieg and through Kith's Spring 2025 look book, has been long-overdue. The Queens-native originally made a name for himself in the world of sneakers through his keen eye for retro runners, so collaborating on modern performance-footwear makes sense. His work on the Swiss-engineered designs, however, skews a lot tamer than past collaborations with ASICS and New Balance.
Fieg previously worked with On to preview new product for Roger Federer, one of the European brand's partial owners. RF2 (a play on both men's identical initials) presented the ROGER Clubhouse Mid and THE ROGER Pro, two silhouettes with tennis-DNA instead of running. Kith's next collab with On is much more rooted in the sport that launched the company back in 2010.
Early imagery of Kith's On Running project didn't reveal exactly which silhouette had been reworked through Fieg's lens, but accompanying campaign material for the all-new K-Tech performance line revealed that it is the On Cloudzone.
The sneaker duo featured throughout the aforementioned look book bears most resemblance to the Cloudrise Cyclon, an eco-friendly option for neutral runners featuring a double-layer of On's CloudTec® cushioning, but delivers a new addition to On's extensive roster of footwear. Fieg's takes opt for tonal off-white and black finishes, delivering versatility in comfortable packages. A reworked On logo is stamped onto the lateral side, nodding to the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park; the same updated logo is printed onto the co-branded shoe box. Kith branding takes on the medial side, sitting right above the Swiss company's Speedboard® component.
Fieg and team took their On Cloudzone collaboration as the perfect opportunity to present Kith's performance line, K-Tech. In many ways the missing component to the Kith empire, K-Tech injects a premium build and elevated aesthetic to athletic apparel and accessories.
The line's inaugural collection offers matching sets, water-resistant nylon jackets, and a number of headwear items – all crafted with performance-driven materials and technology to ensure every workout and session is of the highest level. K-Tech branding appears across products like the Panelled Donovan Tee, Honeycomb Tech Heathrow Tee, Active Nylon Griffey Runner Cap, and Wrinkle Nylon Camper Bucket Hat, cementing its presence in the world of Ronnie Fieg.
