Hello Kitty Returns to the Kids' PUMA Easy Rider

Hello Kitty continues to take over the footwear space, collaborating with some of the world's biggest brands to deliver Yuko Shimizu's iconic character in sneaker-form. The latest?: PUMA on another pair of the Kids' Easy Rider.

Since January 2020, the German sportswear giant has been partnering with Shimizu's empire to bring Kitty White to apparel, accessories, and footwear inspired by sport. A newly-surfaced take on the classic PUMA Easy Rider offers yet another playful, colorful style for longtime and new fans of the cartoon franchise. In comparison to past linkups between both brands, the next sneaker features a predominantly 'Black' finish instead of clean 'White' look. Uppers and sole units, however, abandon their typical presentations in favor of Hello Kitty-fied editions.

Sketch-like embroidered figures across the upper reference Kitty White's iconic outsole, bow, and HK branding. The silhouette's name on the lateral mid-foot is surrounded by whiskers, further commemorating Shimizu's creation. The famous fictional character appears on the lateral heel, right above Hello Kitty text in a traditional cursive font. Co-branding also appears on the top of the tongue and the footbed, while the Sanrio icon's beloved apple lands on the spine.
