Fresh off dropping 25 points in a much-needed win against the New York Knicks, LaMelo Ball and his PUMA Hoops family are continuing to push product for the public. The lifestyle-focused LaFrancé silhouette has recently appeared in a heatmap-inspired update.
Named after the youngest Ball Brother's brand, the PUMA LaFrancé features an exaggerated aesthetic reminiscent of both early 2000s designs and recent high-fashion footwear. The result is a model that's just as attention-grabbing as the NBA guard's game.
Previous iterations of the sneaker have indulged in tonal finishes that allow it to be much more versatile than the PUMA MB.04, Ball's current performance signature shoe. But the newly-surfaced "Heatmap" style enjoys some of the experimental flair found across the MB series. A single green animates the bulk of the busy upper and sole unit, but multi-colored sections that double as eye-stays introduce a heatmap-reminiscent element to the LaFrancé. Mystery Van-friendly blue embroidery appears along the profiles and at the forefoot, lending its vibrant hue to the spot-laden traction underfoot.
Enjoy official photos of the "Heatmap" LaFrancé by the Big Cat Brand below. Pairs should hit PUMA.com and PUMA flagship locations soon for $110.
